The Need for Nurture 
To “be there” for youth in your church while discipling and educating them in God’s mission, try to be present with them as often as possible, helping them to associate your face with missions.  Here are a few ideas of things you could try.
 
Offer a quarterly mission update during youth gatherings (call it Maximum
    Mission or give it another creative title).

Use this time to connect them personally and emotionally to what God is doing around the world.

When you have missionary speakers, try to book missionaries who have a 
    passion for youth, and try to arrange a time for them to share specifically
    with youth.

Always introduce a missionary warmly and genuinely to your students.
