The International Day of Prayer for the persecuted church (IDOP) 2011, is just two months away!

The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) 2011, is just two months away!  The designated date for IDOP 2011 is Sunday, November 13 (Sunday, November 6 in the U.K. and Ireland); however, you are free to choose another date in November if you wish to join in prayer in this global, annual event to pray for the suffering church worldwide.
 
There are many countries in the world today where Christians are persecuted for their faith. Believers in some countries face death threats. Christians in many other countries around the world face violence, imprisonment, discrimination and actual death. There are thousands of Christians who have fled their homes and countries due to persecution; and some places are so closed off from the world that persecution take place, but goes unknown to the outside world.
